I remember him showing that to Tracy and me when we were sharing a trailer at Edd's, and his saying that most of the parts in it came from his local hardware store. I think that this is the first of two homebuilt rebreathers he made. Not to mention building an airplane. A remarkable man.
Many years ago when getting out of the water at Little River I saw this unit laying on the retaining wall and wondered where Forest was. Sure enough he said Hey as he came down the stairs. Sure brings back memories.
