Duracell Power Boost AA battery issue & Shearwater Petrel.

Purchased a 40 pack of Duracell Power Boost AA batteries from Costco and some of them on a trip to Curacao. When I put one in my Petrel 2 it would only allow me with choose Lithium. Home now and tested them and they are 1.7 volts. Higher than a non Power boost Duracell battery. The caused the battery indicator to be inaccurate.

Never use Duracell batteries in any Shearwater device. Call Shearwater and ask why.

I don't normally either. But was in Curacao and not near a place to purchase batteries.
