Agreed. Im not up there enough where I ever even see the county workers. So someone more local should. My suggestion was only if county approved and I recommend giving the county free access as well.
Definitely a bigger sturdier cart like at jug if we do get one. Those gorillas are nice but there are better options. Esp if someone is willing to upgrade it with things like non-pneumatic tires

I am scanning Craig's List for carts. You can get decent ones for under $50.

Us old geezer cave divers lugged our gear down the rickety steps for years. We don't need an Amazon solution to a non-problem. Man up.

Times change. I have lugged gear through the woods and other areas for much longer distances than the walk at lr. But remember we are now seeing a large percentage of divers doing much longer heavier deco dives than years past due to ccr. Lugging all that gear back up after 45+ minutes of deco is a recipe to get bent.
Rather than chest thumping about the old days, think beyond your own experiences.
I dont disagree sometimes you need a little grit to get a dive done. Nothing wrong with that sentiment. But little river is a tourist cave so lets be a little more realistic. You want some twice a year cave diver from the north coming down and passing out or getting bent after a dive because theyre not used to florida? I dont. There?s nothing wrong with some assistance to aid enjoyment.
If you want to show off we can set up a race where people carry all their gear to itchetucknee without the cart. Winner gets bragging rights to having the biggest balls

Good points. Let's put a funicular there instead.

BTW, a CCR is a lot lighter than double pressed steel 104's, the standard back in the day.

    Cheers and good diving!

104s are definitely heavier than almost all ccrs till you manifold doubles to them then they get wide and heavy and personally I find sometimes harder to walk and maneuver in than my 104s
