:arrowblack RIP that cart at Little River

Well, the cart was stolen at Little River recently. Seems it disappeared during operating hours. Suwannee County isn't likely, near term at least, to replace. I'm willing to donate $$ towards another. Anyone want to take on this cause? The one they had was awesome. I would like the same one back, but this time we paint it all pink. I did that for years with all my scuba weights and the loss rate dropped dramatically and many got returned even. I think a local (north Florida) up here would think twice about possessing anything pink. However, these days, I could be wrong.

FYI, the old steps are toast/removed... but they DO PLAN on replacing them with Aluminum ones. Sounds great.

Pink is a good idea. When I was stock car racing all my pit equipment was hot pink, jack, air tanks, tools, prybars etc. I never had anything walk away. I agree that the missing cart was awesome and even replaced tire tubes on my dime to keep it going. Shame that some !@^$##$ would steal it. We will need to make sure it is kept locked up in the future and only cave divers have the combo if we finance it.

Here's a thought. Our workshop is coming up at the end of this month. We could set up a "donation" jar to help fund things. We will have a large audience on hand, and perhaps an announcement by Paul Heinreth might help. It's for a good cause, so who knows!

I thought that one was pretty tough. You could carry 2 sets of gear easily. Was study and strong

This is why we cant have nice things.

I am in for money but the conference should not be the only place to collect. Many of us dont have the luxury of atrending due to jobs. So if we can setup a paypal link or something I would be in for $100.

Kate from Dive Outpost contacted the county to see if they plan to get another one. After all we pay to go there now. She?s waiting to hear back.
New one is close to $300

Would a "Go Fund Me" work to collect the funds?
