Memorial Day weekend advice

Folks, my bud and I want to get a check dive before heading to Eagle's Nest during the Memorial Day weekend. Presume Ginnie's out the question. What are our options on the way to Cave Country. How is Little River, OG, or Peacock around this time?

Right now the other options are not available due to flooding and brown out conditions.There is Manatee or Buford
Ginnie does not allow divers during Memorial Day

What Lee said. One other one I would add is Hudson Grotto if its just a gear/skills check. The walk to Buford sucks if youre testing gear and you have a failure. Manatee is a great place to do it. But depending on the day theres always a chance that it could be full of divers already and youre turned away. Over the years I?ve had that happen 3 times at manatee when everything else is blown, so I dont go to manatee as much. Hudson is always guaranteed open. Unfortunately its also the devil?s urinal and I hate it there with a passion but will go for quickie gear checks. Id rather be in a blown out tunnel far back in ginnie than in hudson. Ive never been opast 60ft. Something about the poor viz and gunk stuck to the walls and all the trinkets they placed everywhere weirds me out alot. Its what I think the world would look like after an apocalypse. But its good for training/gear checks.

My advice is to stay home over the Memorial Day weekend!! I live here. You will not be happy.

Good advice. Plus the river caves will be a nightmare due to boat traffic and too much alcohol.

Madison is open for diving but the flow is EXTREME. It should get better soon.

Holiday weekend park attendance and the massive thunderstorm we endured for 2+ hours notwithstanding, Manatee was beautiful this past weekend (May 4th).
