Cookie vs bread clip.

I like using a bread clip instead of a cookie while on a dpv. I would like to use them exclusively, not just while using a dpv.
Does anyone use bread clips for all their dives, not just while riding your sleigh? Has anyone ever had one fail ? They take up more room than cookies, how are you carrying them?

I carry a couple on my necklace (either side of the reg). They are "out of the way" yet easy to reach.

Only when scootering and now with ccr pretty much never since i got all the time in the world

I assume u mean the fancy plastic clips with the push button top.

They really dont save me a ton of time

I've been using the bread clips for a few years now. I like them a lot. I painted mine a fluorescent color and put a strip of reflective tape around them and my initials.

not my speed, but to each their own. only two caveats with em i know of, 1) springs are typically not stainless, 2) they slide pretty easily on the line.

I am with you on clothes pins. They are fast and easy to drop, and don't fall off the line.

in the UK the CDG use clothes pegs. we normally put our initials on them. they are the only thing that fits on heavy line and are easy to use with gloves on.

Those are the ones I use. I dont use them too often. Mainly a very well known area I just want to quickly mark something without coming off the trigger very long. Partly why I dont use them much is theyre not that much faster and as you said flow can move them because they can slide.

I haven't used these plastic bag clips yet, just cookie varieties and clothespins, but I have seen others using them. I am making a note to grab a couple next time I go shopping and give them a go. I wonder if the grip can be improved some with rubber sheeting and the spring replaced (if it corrodes too much in fresh water).
