Springs near Captiva Island/Ft. Myers area

Going to be down on Captiva Island next June with the fam/extended fam. Curious if there are any springs in a reasonable driving distance that I can take the kiddos to swim/snorkel/explore. Browsing the FL State parks website I'm not seeing a whole lot in that area, but thought I would post here to see if there are any other spots nearby.

Unfortunately (or fortunately?) we will be flying. That's a good idea though and plan to do that on future trips that way.
