    Default Madison Blue 8/20/23

Went to Madison 8/20/23. Not a ton of swimmers, and those there were exceptionally polite. One other team present (a class). Very clear until Martz. Crackling blue after. Flow is definitely up. Only went to about 1800p and got tired of kicking in the areas with no spots to pull and glide. The ride out was exceptional.

knock on wood; I've never had a bad interaction with the public at Madison. Always enjoy when a team holds court with all the inquisitive children (and adults) asking the usual questions. Considerably less main character syndrome vs Ginnie for sure.

Headed up there on the 27th for KUR surface support; hope conditions hold as reported.

I agree the people at madison are a much better lot than little river or ginnie typically. But they were all extra nice moving out of our way and correcting their children.

Surface support at madison sounds sucky with all the gnats. Id rather mosquitoes than the gnats. Luckily gnats werent bad yesterday so hopefully it stays that way for you.

fingers crossed. two thermacells, box of bug spray, and a sun hat/shirt will hopefully put a bit of a dent on em.

Thermacells never seem to work for the madison gnats. Best thing I ever bought was a dewalt fan that takes tool batteries. Got it for the heat but the best thing about it is it keeps mosquitooes and gnats at bay. Thermacell and fan are a killer combo.

the van has a 120v inverter and we bring a desk fan that comes along to take the edge off while kitting up. Mer picked up one of those PTB fans and has been happy with it, but she's up north so i cant borrow it for the weekend.

Might put an order in for one, thanks for the recommendation! o7

[edit] one DCE512B PTB Fan and 5Ah battery ordered. thanks again!

You'll be very pleased with it. Mine goes everywhere with me these days - diving, shooting, painting, open houses, etc. I think it's honestly been the best $120ish I spent on a "tool" in a looong time
