Mr and Mrs Exley came to Peacock Springs on a day a book signing was done by Sandra Poucher for ,"Taming of the Slough". They were the nicest, most charming couple, that really embraced the group that assembled that day. It was real enjoyable that day to meet the parents of someone who shaped cave diving.

Thanks Kelly for posting this. I was there that day too and had a good talk with Mr. Exley. They were a nice couple. We talked about maybe doing a documentary about Sheck and he gave me their phone number and said you better do it quick! We talked on the phone some, but it didn't go further than that. Wasn't someone else working on a Sheck or early cave diving doc? I'm still interested in it too.
