Default North Florida Springs are in great shape

For those that might be thinking about diving during the upcoming NSS CDS convention; great news. I've dived most caves in and around the Suwannee river these past few days. Every cave south of Anderson is divable and conditions are better than normal. Currents are strong in the river caves, although I thought Madison (on the Withlacoochee) wasn't so bad. Anderson is kicking. The water level at Little River was NOT on the steps today. Peacock Springs is awesome VIS. Peacock 3 is back to slight syphoning.

Even horses are getting into enjoying the springs!

Original plan yesterday was to dive OG but when we got there it was ugly. Either browned out or close to it depending on whos judging it. We didnt get in to see if it cleared. Ended up doing P1 crossover to olsen. Everything on both sides up to the crossover is crystal clear.

Oh good. It looked very uninviting and all the junk swirling on the surface screamed of ear infection so we went the safe route.
When we first got to the prk we were excited we?d have OG all to ourselves. Then we figured out why.

When it gets hotter and sunnier, OG will often get bad algal blooms. Frequently clears up at the tree.

Definitely looked like an ear infection waiting to happen right?
