    Default Old cave sign

I found this in an old shed that once belonged to a retired cave diver. I sure wish we had a Cave Diving Museum. Sounds like a cool project for the NSS CDS .

I wonder where all the stuff that Cindy Butler collected for the previous incarnation of the Cave Diving Museum is now.

I don't think so. The last time I was there, what remained was stored in a metal shed/barn well away from the house.

Much of it is going to the NSS headquarters in Huntsville.

Michael, that is awesome you are doing this. Any chance that the items will be photo documented for virtual opportunities for people to see, since so few members will go to Huntsville? From what I gather the NSS has a very large collection (think last scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark) and they don't have a fraction on display.

Could always go to the History of Diving museum in Key Largo - there's only an item or two in reference to cave diving there.

Michael P is going to take it, with other items, to the NSS.
