You'll never find cops taking property crimes seriously, not because they actually have a ton of other things to do, but because those investigations will require legwork and follow up.
If you'd had a grow in that storage room, they'd have time for 10+ deputies, raids and no limits on their resources.

keep your eyes on facebook marketplace, craigslist, etc.

remember the guy that had his drysuit stolen at ginnie a couple months ago? I found that suit posted on gainesville craigslist and was able to help the sheriff obtain a subpeona for craigslist, tracked down the person who posted it and recovered the suit. Is anyone surprised it was a Ginnie Springs employee that stole it?

GREAT JOB!!! Glad you found the suit and sicked the cops on it. Hope the employee was arrested.. Now days.. Who even knows what the cops are allowed to do. IF I were some scumbag thief, I guess i'd move to washington state.. But, I doubt any of those little antifa punks have the rebreather I want.. "Juuuuust sayin"

Very sorry. I have had my share of gear stolen, dive gear, tools, etc. I tend to take it personally. God forbid I catch them in the act...

Glad to see the community looking out for each other.
