There is a recall of these regs already. But hey, if your one of the sucke... uhm, beta teste... uhm, customers, you get a free hood. Sweet. Looks like they've been thoroughly tested or at least now they are by the customers. Reminds me of that dive computer they used to sell.

Spot on. I am particularly wary of their own customers, retailers, "fanboys" testing the regs, how more biased can you get.

Not sure what the shorter rotating turret on the NX700 is supposed to achieve other than aesthetics.

IMO nothing beats Atomic, with SP and Apeks a close 2nd place.

Regulators are very low tech. They really haven't changed in decades. Sure there are some cosmetic differences and different marketing but the basic technology is the same. Manufacturing has become more efficient over the years with cnc equipment but I would say regs manufactured in the US, Italy, UK years ago had much better quality control than the ones coming out of China or Taiwan do today. I can't see spending the money on the latest and greatest regulators but there are apparently plenty of people who have money to burn, want to fit in or simply don't know any better who seem to keep these companies in business. I see people posting about their color matching regs and fins. I personally don't care and I actually think the airbrushed G250's or the clear G250's are cooler even though I don't have any.
