Missing diver supposedly far back and also supposedly missing since last night. One of the dove shops closed early to allow for rescue/recovery. I’m sure more details will be out in a few days.

I won't hold my breath on any details coming out, they never seem to anymore. I'm sure we'll get the basics, but I doubt an accident report will ever be published...

On Thursday January 21, 2021 at approximately 1130 hours the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a missing underwater diver in the NE quadrant of Gilchrist County. Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation International Underwater Cave Rescue and Recovery, is attempting to locate the missing diver. If anyone should come in contact with personnel associated with this search, please stay clear of the area. No further information is being released at this time until more details can be confirmed by law enforcement. There is no danger associated with this missing person to the general public. Further information will be released as it pertains this investigation when it is available and is appropriate.
