    It didn?t say if the sink hole was already there or a new one. Also was on private property. Were they trespassing or guests?

    a sink hole that deep in High Springs and its dry?

    Why yes that was me in shorts and a t-shirt oops, a drysuit @ the 700' marker

    Vampire is deep. But used to be an entrance to underwater cave.

    If you can get into even the dry section of vampire...I'd be interested in knowing how...seeing as it's across the street from my house.

    it is filled in long ago. conduit goes west under the road. thats what i've heard.

    There's a dry cave in Gainesville with that much vertical difference between some of its passages.
