Default River Caves from Suwannee River State Park to Little River

I just got off my kayak after 3 days traveling down the Suwannee River from Suwannee River State Park to a boat ramp just south of Little River. I took notice of every major spring on the way down.

Suwanacoochee Cave was clear and flowing

    Edwards was flowing and clear

Anderson was NOT flowing, nor was it 3 weeks ago.

Charles Spring looked great. I heard some divers were in it last week and said it was great.

Thomas spring was trickling, but didn't get a closer look. Area was a mess.

Mill Pond Run was kicking! Clear water.

    Lafayette Blue looked the usual.

    Perry's Spring looked inviting

    Telford was great

Running Spring was clear. I dove Cow (which feeds Running Spring) today and flow was kicking, but good VIS

    Convict Spring was flowing

    Royal Springs still looking great

    Mearson Cave was inviting

Troy is apparently back open and looked great

Ruth Spring run was running clear, so it's probably good to dive

Little River looked great. No cave divers there at 2pm though.

    That's it!

Nice report TJ! Sounds like you have had a fun trip. I wonder what happened to Anderson. And I guess Blue was not accessible due to shameless unlawful landowner blocking it from river...

No spring, but here is the abandoned bridge near Cow and Running Springs

Anderson was NOT flowing, but didn't appear to be siphoning either. Might just need to go braille dive it and check it out.

How deep is the river ? Could I get my small boat to these springs?

I was there once when the flow was very minimal and excellent vis. Best dive I have ever had there. We got to the fissure where we usually turn but had plenty of gas so went down and into the bedding plane. It was so awesome.
