Covid doesn't go away by hiding in the closet or wearing a mask. It only goes away when there's either a vaccine or a large percentage of the population has already been infected. I don't see any vaccine. What's the problem with letting those who accept the risk go the herd immunity route?

It DOES go away without a vaccine and herd immunity! At least Norway, Danmark, Germany, Austria and Swizerland (and probably more) got pretty much rid of corona. In my state there are a couple of million people and we just had one case in the last 2 or 3 weeks. And we've been out of a light shutdown for at least a month now. You still can't go to concerts and other large gatherings but other than that, everything is basically back to normal... well you do have to wear a mask when entering a store. It comes back in small clusters, but those you have change to get under control.

Social distancing, masks indoors and washing your hand does work combined with an early light shutdown for a couple of month does work and DID work!

What the virus experts said three month ago was correct (the real experts, not the TV and youtube idiots) and the plan worked! No serious source ever said there's gonna be a vaccine anytime soon or that herd immunity would be an option. OFG already explained why.
Look at UK right now... the clown they elected, Boris Johnson said it's gonna be like the flu and let's just people get infected... now they have the highest death toll in Europe by far AND their economy is screwed on top of that. It paines me greatly to see how the Brits have to suffer under this morons uninformed decisions. Why, for the love of god, in any developed country would you rather listen to some trash talking, rich kid, BS artist like Boris instead of listening to the virus research veterans of 30 plus years? Why? I will never understand this.

From what I've seen, you are being very kind in your accessment of FLDC. They are a s**t show wherever they go...

I was being nicer than what I truly think of them because a few people in their club are actyap cave divers and I?m pretty positive one of them posts here. But yes they are definitely worse than I expressed and have a well known reputation even in ow doving groups to be a sh- show.

Actually things like social distancing, wash your hands, stay away when you are sick etc are part of the public health message we get every year at the start of seasonal flu season. We as a population tend to blow off seasonal flu and ignore the public health message. A lot of the hospitals have been completely under utilized, and in some cases staff has been furloughed. Even NYC dismantled the field hospital and sent back the hospital ship Mercy.

Correct me if I'm wrong But didn't NYC order Nursing Homes to accept Covid19 patients? Then I'm pretty Shure I read an article where a Nursing Home Had bodies stored in a shed behind the facility due to the lack of Morgue space. Was turning that ship away the best choice? Nursing Homes were where the patients needed to be isolated from this the most!

You are right about someone open this forum being tight with the NLDC. I simply posted a “watch out” thread a couple months back due two NLDC videos/comments posted on FB about members violating standards at EN and Buford. One of our “friends” here on CDF sent a partial clip of my comments to Mica Neal (NLDC Owner) who proceeded to blast me all over fb. Publicly called me a “liar” and “coward”. I got in touch with him ASAP and showed him screen shots backing up EVERYTHING I had stated. He pulled the posts, but I never got the apology that should have followed such public name calling.
I have no doubt this thread has already been “reported”.
