It's funny, a couple of weeks ago I said that I wished I had known Indian was going to sell for so cheap. I could have bought it. Maybe I should try to buy Diepolder.

A few hours later I drove the entire circumference of the property. Holy cow I had no idea the property was so massive. I'd doubt all cave divers combined could afford to make the purchase.

Sand Hill Scout Reservation is owned by the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council. Completely separate from the National organization of the BSA.

If Diepolder is ever going to open again, its either going to come out of a sell of the property (partial or whole), a new council CEO, or someone somehow enforcing the condition of allowing diving set in place by the Diepolder family when it was giving to the Council.

PS I find it comical that he's posted on his fb a couple of times that the whole incident was bs and it's just people trolling him that don't like him.

PS# 2, it's fun to be passive aggressive and make snide comments on his fb page. Half the time he either doesn't get it or more likely pretends he doesn't get it. But his fb profile is open for anyone to comment, which (hint hint) I think would be a good grass roots movement
