Y'all may be able to dodge a bullet by introducing these restrictions early. In my county we've had only little over 100 people infected in a population of 300k and the restrictions seem to have slowed the rate of infection down significantly. We're allowed to do stuff though, you just can't gather in groups and almost everything is closed so most businesses are really hurting... what I find somewhat concerning right now is that the government doesn't really seem to have a plan how to get out of this situation. All restrictions will be in place at least until the 19th of April. Nobody knows what's gonna happen after that... all we know is that corona will still be around and lots of people will lose their income.
my wife is out of Job since three weeks and chaces are slim she will see any further income this year…

unfortunately this post shows that you have not understood the issue with this Virus and the logic and reasoning behind the lockdows/Contact restrictions etc.
The whole social distancing in NOT to protect yourself it is to proptect OTHERS.
It is to Prevent the medical System from collapsing, so keeping capacities at bay for those that are suffereing from complications of the disease.
If it was in fact for myself my my personal choice, I would not care, personally I see the chances fro myself extremely low that I would have a complicated case and would Need medical Treatment.
I stay at home to protect OTHERS not myself.
Valuing These Actions as they put themselves at Risk is simply wrong, this is not how it works so the comparison is lacking entirely. Those selfish Acts (to still congregate - for whatever reason religious, Party, whatsoever - dont matter why) are putting mostly OtHERS at Risk!
Likely at the end of the day most of the People will get the disease. This is a fact. The percentage that gets in critical stage will also not Change, this is going to happen no matter what. The whole measures are that These do not happen at the same time so it can be ensured that tose that get critical are having a Chance to get the best medical Treatment possible and with that having best Chance to survive. It is About preventing situations like in italy and spain where doctors have to choose who gets a Chance to live (as in getting Treatment at all) and who is sentenced to death Right away (as in no Treatment) because there is not enough facilities..
this is the whole reason to try to flatten the curve as much as possible and gathering with other People is simply not flattening the curve but even raise it. Essentially then one is part of the Problem and one could say you are actively killing other People. Not in you immediate vicinity but in the Aggregate as one doing so is the reason that there are not enough spots for treating those in need. Essentially Talking About manslaughter in case you unnecessarily meet up with someone at this time is not far fetched..
