Super easy to add spgs, for sure. I wasn't trying to be critical either. I completely understand the rationale.

I can?t say for sure, but I?m fairly certain it?s a violation of standards.

Oh, not at all! Again, thanks for sharing your experiences. I look forward to seeing one of these in person when things get a bit closer to normal again.

I was required to run SPGs in class but pulled them immediately after. I dont do working dives, though. My personal most common failure has been SPG spools. I've never missed them. I will say that I am also the guy that doesnt run SPGs on my bailouts, either. Not like it will matter when I need them. If they free flow, I turn. Pressure be damned. But that hasnt happened, either. But then I run a BOV and the other is off, so not likely. I have no issue with other people running as many pressure gauges as they want.

I'm sure Charlie will include buttons or SPGs up to your financial tolerance for them.

Disclaimer: I have the Fathom/Meg conversion, not a complete Fathom unit. Which I am really enjoying, btw!

As far as I know Everyone that’s been taught on a fathom has had a gauge on the o2 bottle, I had one when I took my crossover, than removed it after....

Just to clarify, the Fathom Mk II CCR ships with a mini-spg on the oxygen first stage for checking pressures prior to the dive. The 10+ hours of available oxygen in a 3L cylinder exceeds the recommended scrubber duration of even the large 8.8 lb scrubber so not much use in monitoring oxygen reserves during the dive. The typical configuration for the Fathom CCR is offboard diluent/bailout so the other onboard cylinder is used for inflation gas. I have been playing with a transmitter on the oxygen lately, which is read by my Shearwater Teric, but honestly I think it would be more useful on the bailouts since std spgs are a pita to read.

Thanks for clarifying, Charlie. I always thought the unit looked super slick but hadn't seen one in person. I was playing around with hose routing on my Inspo and couldn't quite figure out how some of the hoses on the Fathom were routed from online photos, hence the original post.
