This is short enough to post on the main forum but I'm here now and so are you soooo..
I went diving in Peacock 1 with an intro guy late Saturday afternoon, Peanut line up to within spitting distance of the Waterhole jump.
About 4-5 steps are still underwater so it makes for a very easy entry. The flow is up for this system but nothing like I thought it would be looking at the boil prior to jumping in.
All the cave walls are stained a dark brown and the vis is around 30 ft. A very different look for Peacock, I liked it a lot actually. Like diving a river cave. It reminded me of a cross between Manatee and Kitty sink.
If you get the opportunity to dive it under these conditions, I would not pass it up. In fact I liked it so much I called a buddy down from Live Oak and we are diving it again this afternoon.
Dive safe,
Mike
