Default Thai Navy Seal dies of infection contracted during the cave rescue a year ago

Sparse on details. Don't recall and news reports at the time of an injury occurring. Seems an awfully long time to not be able to successfully treat something with antibiotics, even given resistant strains of whatever it was.

I had once contracted stafillococos infection after scraping a ceiling in virgin cave. Had to take some strong antibiotics. It make sense to wear a helmet in tight caves with no flow.

I've read some speculation by infectious disease specialists about the source but have not seen anything definitive. They mentioned an organism that's common in southeast Asia and had affected some soldiers in Vietnam. If anything is confirmed reliably I'll post it here.
