    Default Cave diver yawning theory

If a serious discussion is possible I would like to know if as a cave diver or tech diver you yawn more than most people. My theory is that decades of mouth-breathing, skip-breathing and breath holding for micro adjustments in buoyancy cause me to hold my breath for longer periods of time than others in normal situations. Recent research indicates yawning is an attempt to cool the brain. Your thoughts are appreciated. PLEASE, serious responses only and I already know all the common cures.

i don't yawn underwater. But, no joke, I start yawning as soon as my X starts talking. Maybe that's why she is my X

It's hard to quantify how much I yawn on the surface, but I sometimes yawn on deco and I don't think my brain needs cooling at the time.

I yawn a lot because I'm lazy, and yawning is a frequent prelude to a nap.
