Excited to announce, coming up all the way from Florida, James Draker and Marissa Eckert from Hidden Worlds Diving will be joining us for this years workshop. There are few people in the diving industry as passionate about diving and through high quality cave instruction. I?m sure everyone?s aware of their relentless travelong and awesome dives. Really excited for them to be coming up!
James and Marissa are passionate full time technical diving Instructors and own Hidden Worlds Diving in Fort White, Florida, specializing in cave, rebreather, technical Trimix, sidemount, and photography, with a wealth of experience and knowledge in both open circuit and rebreather diving.
When not teaching, they enjoy traveling the world, exploring new places, hiking through the jungle, and undertaking challenging new dives.
James and Marissa are motivated by the desire to show people this amazing world. Whether that?s through caves, wrecks, ocean diving, deep diving, rebreather diving, sidemount diving, or photography.

Excited to announce a super cool presentation/interview. As folks will remember last year, we did a Skype interview with that worked out pretty well. So I thought we?d try that again this year with someone who is really doing some insanely cool cave exploration.
I?m sure everyone is aware of Patrick Widmann and his and Phillip Lehman?s exploration In Madagascar. We will get to talk to Patrick and hear first hand all the exciting diving they?ve been doing. This is going to be a really cool presentation and I’m super excited.
Patrick Widmann, born in Austria, has spent the last 12 years living in Mexico exploring caves and teaching cave diving. He is a owner and training director at ProTec Dive Centers. Patrick is a explorer, educator, public speaker and the co-designer of the xDeep Stealth 2.0 sidemount system. He is on the board of advisors of PSAI and an Instructor Trainer Evaluator who also helped to develop their CCR Cave Class. Patrick has explored and dived caves in 14 different countries on this planet. Since 2014 has lead annual expeditions to Madagascar where his team has discovered and explored several stunning and vast underwater cave systems. The team has been credited with discovery and analysis of important paleontological remains which where covered by 78 news outlets around the world including CNN, NBC, Washington Post, Nat Geo among others. The team is also credited with discovering and exploring ?Anjanamba?, currently longest submerged cave system of the African continent with 10+km of surveyed cave passage.
