I don't know, someone with knowledge in this matter let me know. Unfortunately, we all have to police our own sh^t, and have your buddy wait by your vehicle while you get a deco bottle, or wait in the water with the equipment while your buddie goes to the vehicle, and lock everything up. Thats about all you can do. All this sucks though.

I am thinking that there must be a company out there that makes some sort of product where you can tag your equipment and valuables in such way that it can be recovered and then prove that you are the rightful owner. Even if there are no S/N's it is still a small community and hopefully, our buddies are careful as to where they purchase "used" equipment.
