Default Lost: JJ cave shield at Lower OG

My wife's cave shield popped off her JJ at some point today in Lower Orange Grove. The most likely location is a restriction around 120 feet, where we ran our line the hard way instead of the easy way (oops). It's also possible that it's near the bottom of the Tee'd jump down to 180 feet, but I think that's less likely.

If anyone is heading there, I'd appreciate if you could keep an eye out for it. Conditions are actually quite nice right now, once you're past the nasty water near the surface. If you happen to find it, drop it off at any local shop or shoot me a message. Thanks!

Sorry for you trouble. Just of curiosity: what is JJ shield, and running hard vs easy way of line? Hope you get your shield back soon.

The cave shield is just a piece of metal that clips on to prevent scratches on the back of the unit. Here are a couple pictures:

The entry to lower orange grove is through a maze of breakdown. There are multiple ways to get through, but some are bigger than others.

Some can be very unstable since it is breakdown.

Yeah, I found this out early in my cave diving. My eyes bugged out when I saw a large rock, seemed like a boulder then, wobble when it got bumped.

Several places in Peacock aren't your friend- lower Orange Grove, Crypt and Peanut restriction. All these places have had some significant rock movement. I would also add Pothole because the bank is pulling away and sliding into the sink.
