    :arrowblack RIP Dan Butler

Missing a good friend of cave diving. Indy 500 won't be the same this year.

I met Dan and went on several dives with him before he ever told me he was a cave instuctor- I think he was testing me to see how I reacted to constructive criticism . He was a great cave diving mentor and we became good friends- Lots of great dives together at Madison,P3 , Manatee, Thunder Hole among others. Good times and some adventures like broken guideline at the end of the cross under tunnel.
As his health declined and my life got busier,we didn’t get to dive together in recent years but the lessons learned and great times as well as the benefits of his experience have continued to serve me well. Dan will be missed.

How long can you dive with those tanks?
