All Scubapro BPIs since 1980 use the standard inflator fitting. The AIR2s use a different one because a standard fitting couldn't deliver enough air to breathe through at 100 feet. (Whenever Scubapro uses something proprietary it's for a reason.)

The old, old SP inflators used a completely different fitting, but I haven't seen one in use in close to twenty years. But I still have one of the hose-side fittings in my toolbox, just in case someone brings one in for service!
