    Default Map of GS

Does anyone know were I can purchase a map of Gennies Springs cave system? I would like a map that shows the line layout. The map at the shop doesn’t show the main line.

Why do I like cave diving? It's the one place where my kids can't follow me.

You can purchase Jeff Hancock's map of the system (with lines on it) from Larry & Debra Green. They can be reached at lgreen@atlantic.net

    It's not cheap though

Another idea is that yuou could purchase the cheaper map and draw the lines on yourself as you progress through the system....

Rich, you miss the point... that would require learning the system progressively... You and I both know that is useless these days...

    Default Ginnie Springs

Haven't been to Ginnie in almost a year. I've heard so many bad things about theft that I'm not really anxious to visit.

So how is the theft situation?

Cave Excurtions West may have the map your looking for.,Lauraville Fl.C all and ask Bill or Rob .I have the one ginnie sells, theres actually a map #1 and 2.The one your looking for has 1 and 2 combined, hence the higher price.

    Default Theft

I think you will find theft at Ginnie is no worse that anywhere else in the area. Meaning keep an eye on your stuff, don't leave a VR3 on the table while you go to lunch. They have a new guy on staff that I have heard good things about. Make a point to talk to the staff guy and let him know. This is Me and my buddy we are using this table and no-one should walk off with stuff off it but us...... I think this will help out.
Has anyone had any recent issue with deco bottles walking off? I have not heard any.

You might also check with "Cave Excursions East", which is just west of Ginnie Springs. I may be wrong, but I thought I saw it for sale there a few months ago.
