    Default Nerd mount

So I believe I have reversed engineer this:

Used a bolt from a GoPro Part. I cut away the plastic and disposed of it.

    Ordered a Lock-Line 40413

Using a bandsaw I cut the threads off

Attached it to a GoPro Base that has a tripod mount so I can securely attach it to my helmet

Attached the bolt to the base and temporarily used a couple of nuts as spacers. These will be replaced with SS Washers or shorter bolt.

    Attached together using Lock-Line Pliers

I will be attaching a custom made base that connects to the Nerd and the nozzle end of the Lock-Line Noozle. The base will be contoured to the shape of the Nerd Base with 24mm Center to Center holes to attach the custom base to the Nerd and also to the Lock-Line Nozzle using a SS bolt.

All bolt attachments will have Blue Loctite to prevent loosening.

Tony I have a ton of GoPro attachment parts if you want to dig through them and see if anything will work for you.

    Well.....

I tried a couple of different ways to attach it to the loockline and eventually after making a custom mount/bracket and then deciding that that didn?t work well I resorted to using part of the factory mount.

Need to lock-tite and water test it.
