I didn't know that the Latter Day Saints did regulator rebuilds. Is there anything that they can't do? I'll be danged!!!
I currently dive Scubapro (Not the recalled model). Knowing what I know now I think my next set of regs will be Dive Rites. From the number of Cave Divers I see using them they must be reliable regs. They are also the only company I know of that will sell the reg owner parts and rebuild kits. There is also a good deal of info on doing the job yourself. I trust myself to do the job correctly. Back when I owned Poseidons it was a non stop hassle to get someone to maintenance them and I was always waiting on parts and twice when I got them back they weren't right.
Do any other regulator companies sell parts to individual owners and offer support and info to D.I.Y. ? I totally respect that.
I think it's illegal to sell other products such as Cars, Lawn mowers, Appliances, Etc, Etc, without also selling replacement parts to the individual owner. Why do Scuba companies get away with it?
I can get the parts at Napa and fix my own Brakes or work on my own Airplane but maintenancing my own Reg is hazardous. Go Figure.

I just changed out my Dive Rites for the Apeks XTX 200.. I have no idea how the service side is going to be, compared to the DRs, but it has been worth it so far..
