Hi I?m looking to buy a light can to build a heater pack. Would prefer something with a shot battery (cheaper to build a new pack).

I have an old DiveRite 20 watt HID light and cannister that was made into a 24 watt years ago. It leaked a little a few months ago and started flickering. Got it to DiveRite and I'm told that parts are no longer available to repair it. (Which is a shame as I loved this light.)
The cannister with lid and light is still at DiveRite. Maybe I can ask for it back if you're interested?

Deal of the day. Old Dive Rite HID, canister size is 3.5 wide and 4 inch height. Unit complete with lite head and dead battery.

I used a borrowed light with a 6" canister a few times - it seemed huge, but during the dive didn't notice it at all.
