The Nerd 1 "box" has the same connector that a Petrel EXT has on it. If you can connect said cable to one of those, the Nerd will connect as well. I'm assuming that is what you are asking.

fischer cable end, but it is a receiver end so it will plug into the standard fischer cable.
They are now selling their "hardwired" versions with a 4-pin subconn which is a much better solution for quick disconnects. If you have a bunch of fischer computers or heads then it may make sense to keep it, but if it's only for the sidewinder I'd consider swapping it for the subconn. It's not listed on their website, but here's the part number

i heard Shearwater was out of production awhile back on the Nerd 2 until they resolved some issues. Does anyone know if they are producing them again? contemplating getting a pair in the near future.
