Geez....that's the Weston bungees. They are for holding floaty aluminum stages down. That's what the Weston system is. And yeah...you got to dive this system for a while before it sinks in. If you don't clip off the damn bungees after you drop your stage, or if you don't unclip before you position your stage, you are gonna have a sit storm and get your picture on Facebook. I like this method better than tank bangin or Rob's method, or front stage stowing. Just my 2 cents.t

Just wondering what modifications have people made of any to the dice rite ls ? Especially if you prefer to not use the ring bungee system ?

I removed the rings from my bungees and ran them through a loop of 550 cord under the webbing of my chest D-rings.
Added another set of d-rings to the waist, one set forward for floaty tanks and one further back for negative tanks. I mainly dive al80s and swap them to the front rings when they get light in the rear.
Moved LPI to left side.
Added spine weight pouch.
