    Default Stolen Dive Gear

    From another list (TDS)--- Eric
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
Just recieved this from Jim Rozzi:
Hey Guys, a long shot but I got hit hard by thieves last night. Put out the word on a RB80 witha stainless frame with two 40 AL and a gas switch block, Sea & Sea housing for a digital Rebel and dome, 2 120 strobes, 1 55 strobe ttl, 2 new Mark 25 & s600 regs and a brand new Wet Wear custom G250 Rubatex wet suit, black outside red inside. They left my Meg and a new Kiss Classic which were sitting beside the RB80. All were sitting in my pool house getting ready for service and diving this Saturday. They were placed in the pool house the day of the theft.

I wish the slime-ball that stoled this would try and use and die but it will probably end up in a dumpster... Pretty hard to hock a RB80 at your local Pawn shop.

Is there a fence around your property? Not that it really matters but it sure does take a lot of guts to go into someone's yard and steal some gear.
I would hope that the cops can catch the A-Hole. I would almost be willing to bet that some neighborhood kids saw you loading your gear into the pool house and waited till you left to take it. At least thats the M.O. around here. Not long ago the little B@#TARDS took mail from mailboxes in a subdivision not far from me that a buddy lives in and somehow was able to use his visa # to charge about 10,000.00 worth of goods that they sold and used the money to by the materials to make crack. It took a while but the cops finally caught them and now there are 23 people from 14-21 waiting trial.
Good luck on getting your gear back.

    Hey----Ho----Lets go!!!!!!!!

Not making fun of my friends loss but think about this:

    3 rebreathers ( Meg,KC and a RB80 )
    wet suit
    Camera

why take only the RB80, wet suit and camera? Last time I priced out a Meg and a KC they cost a little more than a wet suit...

    strange eh?
