NSS Winter Workshop

I think it is great that the NSS CDS is offering this years workshop for free admission...

2 questions...

1. how many divers/spots were allocated for the Heart Springs dive? (I was pokey.. now they are sold out) Maybe we could get the allotment increased?

2. what is overhead nitrox? How does this differ from a standard nitrox class?

1. If you are full cave with Abe Davis, you can dive Little Hart without a guide. The guided spots are for people that either do not have Abe Davis or would like to dive through the Black Lagoon. Spot availability is dependent strictly upon having enough guides -- all of the guides are volunteers. The normal diving fee to the park applies for all diving activities ($20).

2. It's basically the same as regular nitrox, but it's only available to people that are certified Cavern and above divers.

FWIW, Hart is really a mainline only dive, and have to give kudos to the CDS for keeping traffic manageable
