Here's a breakdown by year of the certifications needed soon to dive Ginnie Springs.
2017 CCR CAVE (will not be valid after the new GS CCR cave card comes out in the fall of 2018)
2018 Ginnie Springs Open Water cert (cross over from Open Water will require you to watch the video 3 times in a row)
2018 Ginnie Springs Dry Suit cert
2018 Ginnie Springs CCR Cave cert (will be update later so it's only one specific type of rebreather, { Ginnie Springs MEG CCR Cave, Ginnie Springs KISS Classic CCR Cave, Ginnie Springs JJ CCR Cave, etc...)
2019 Ginnie Springs Ginnie Springs Instructor certification
2019 Ginnie Springs Ginnie Springs Instructor Cave certification
2019 Ginnie Springs Ginnie Springs Instructor Cave w/dry suit certification
2019 Ginnie Springs Ginnie Springs Instructor Rebreather certification (will be update later so it's only one specific type of rebreather, { Ginnie Springs MEG CCR Cave, Ginnie Springs KISS Classic CCR Cave, Ginnie Springs JJ CCR Cave, etc...)
2019 Ginnie Springs Ginnie Springs Instructor Rebreather Cave certification (will be update later so it's only one specific type of rebreather, { Ginnie Springs MEG CCR Cave, Ginnie Springs KISS Classic CCR Cave, Ginnie Springs JJ CCR Cave, etc...)
2019 Ginnie Springs Doubles cert (this cert includes H Valve usage)
2019 Ginnie Springs Sidemount cert
2019 Ginnie Springs Sidemount CCR cert
2019 Ginnie Springs Sidemount CCR Cave cert
2020 Ginnie Springs Decompression procedures cert
More to come!
(Note- Nitrox and Trimix training has yet to be finalized, due to the lawyers and accounts being unable to agree on whether to have a $eparate certification$ for 28% Nitrox, 30% Nitrox, 32% Nitrox and 21% Nitrox.)
The good news for some of us is that most of these can be done with a one day cross over class so we can get our Ginnie Springs cert card fairly fast.
