ref: Green Cove Springs

In cave country there are many unexplored 'windows' into the aquifer which remain relatively unknown to most. With a little research & some knowledge of what kind of land formations & tree/shrubbery growth nearby, karst windows are not hard to find. This is what i really enjoyed most with my cave diving. Finding new, unmarked or unmarred caves with no line. It remains exciting to lay the first tie off in a new system. Don't tell everyone where it is, but do tell of your adventures. That is the reward of being an explorer. Dive within your own means & don't push it beyond your skill level. By all means be safe and follow what your were taught in your classes. Follow the 5 or six basic rules of safe cave diving. Ask permission before you step onto private land as well.
The known systems are cool for developing your skills, but i tend to shy away from local city sites with cave restrictions.
Dive safe !
