02 in peacock

Based on my open water experience, I can see a justification for having O2 available on any dive below 50 ft. One of my buddies was badly bent on an OW dive well within the no-deco limits. The boat's hour's worth of O2 did him a world of good, although he still needed 6 hours in the chamber.

who brings oxygen into peacock or orange grove while doing a normal backgas dive? I'm not talking about if your doing Hensleys Castle or lower orange grove, or a long stage dive. I'm simply talking about doing a nice leasurely backgas dive. I have never done a backgas dive in peacock and ended with more then like 7 minutes of deco. But i tend to see people bringing in O2 when making short dives. I'm just interested in who feels it nessesary to do this?

Don't forget that it depends on your diving profile, i.e. I did a long dive at Ginnie Springs Saturday Night, and then another and finished the dive at 1:15 Sunday morning. My second dive at Peacock at 11 am in the morning was a 2 hour dive to the "Crypt." So yes, I had my 02 bottle waiting for me.
