All these shops do cave fills?! Or just regular fills?

While you are waiting for your fills, head over to Southport Raw Bar next to Brownies. Unbelievably good!

TechFills if you're looking for cave fills. Pompano Dive Center is also a great option, especially for trimix (they bank several common mixes), but won't typically provide cave fills.
It depends to some degree on who is filling the tanks there. One or two of the employees will jack the tanks somewhat, but it is by no means the norm. I used to get my nitrox fills there and had a fill card, but I stopped because they would not fill my LP tanks TO the rated pressure, let alone above it. When I am single tank diving, I use my LP 85 sidemount bottles as singles. I dived with some visiting friends who rented AL 80s, and those were routinely filled to 3300 PSI, and I could not get my LP 85s past 2500 PSI. I found it ironic that my friends' AL 80s had more gas for our dives than I did with my LP 85s. The final straw came when I talked about it with the manager, who said for safety reasons he could not ask employees to fill beyond the rated pressure, and I asked if I could at least get it TO the rated pressure, and he said, "Now we're splitting hairs."
So now I take them across the Intracoastal to Force E, and they will absolutely fill them to typical cave diving levels. Their fill station has two outlets--EANx 36 and air. When you want a specific nitrox blend, they put in some from one outlet and some from the other to get the right amount.
Despite what it said in an earlier post, though, Force E does not do custom trimix, at least that is what they told me. For trimix, I still use Pompano Dive Center, which works since I do most of my trimix diving from their boats, and I don't need a cave fill in my LP 108 doubles to do the typical trimix dives in that area.
Sometimes I feel like that must be taught somewhere because i've experienced the same at a local dive shop here in Austin. AL80s to 3300 and LP95s to 2400 and attitude when you ask for 2600-2700. Fortunately a quick use of the transfill whip at home got the LP95 to where it belonged.
Of course the real solution is for one to get his own compressor. Best thing I ever did.
