I have been to the aardvark room and it seems you can still go further on backmount. I doubt you can make it on doubles without staging particularly when the flow is up. I did it on a rebreather with two stages as bailout. When conditions improve, I may push further but was also wondering how far it goes before turning sidemount. As I recall, there is T there and the line goes up if you go right. When you get past the rat T and Goethite section it is a very pretty dive from there to a couple of hundred feet before the AArdvark room.

No , you are correct... right on the money !

Would not hurt to support her shop too...that would go a long way as far as getting permission to dive there.

Anyone have any idea where I could get my hands on a map of the Luraville Spring??? I checked with Bill and Cathy on Tuesday, both seem to be out. Cathy has one, but its on display and I don't think she will part with it.

John Kunkle did the map of Luraville and I don't think he has published it. There is a copy at Dive Outpost you can look at.

Thanks Mike. I was hoping to add one to my collection for reference.

Currently the Luraville/Telford cave system begins about a quarter of a mile north and west of the Country Store. The combined distance of Mike Pouchers Telford survey and my Luraville survey put the entire system at about 30,000ft of surveyed passage. I had hoped to produce a new map for the workshop this year but alas, that is not to be. I do believe there are some copies of the old map laying around some where and I will try to restock Cathy next week. The system becomes sidemount right about where you can't get any further in backmount. If you know what I mean!
