    Paul,
I was drooling at this as a minimum lift wing.
Only twenty pounds of lift and you have slots for your backplate and harness.
    Web- http://www.deepoutdoors.com/ look under “airstream.”

Another option would be to purchase Cordona material and make a cover with that.

Great topic and I am also enjoying the chat everyone.

Hey Paul, speaking of Shangri La, when are we going to see you down there?

I was trying to describe how I had my light mounted earlier in the thread so I just snapped a photo instead. It's kind of nice being able to snap it on and off quickly and it's out of the way between the wing and the jacket against my side:

When sidemounting al80's how much weight should be added to the cam band to trim the tanks out?

    Thanks!
    Martin.

I always float check tanks- good habit.
500psi add 1st stage (with second and PSI gauge) throw in pool- what does Bob Barker say we need?

When I added my hard weight to the band- I had to move it away from the cam. It seems when the weight was too close to the cam and that effects the way the cam cinches down. In fact, I am converting to Diverite pockets. That way I can use metal bands or just grab weight when traveling.

For the Al80 I usually apply 4lbs. But there are S80’s and N80’s tanks.
N is for neutral tanks and they are slightly heavier to offset the swing.

I am interested in a set of LP85- those seem very… nice.
However, recreational dive shop seem to relax better with al80 than anything else. Not like I am telling what I do with my tanks.

I made a seperate cam band with just a 1# weight that I can easily attach low on an AL80. On the same cam band as the attachment clip it takes more weight then when attached lower - 2#-4# maybe.
