Do you own your own analyzer?

Maybe they aren't on this forum, or don't want to admit to using the shop analyzer.

A lot of people just use the shop analyzer for convenience rather than getting their personal one out of their car.

If you are a serious diver, you should definitely own one. That said there is a lot more gear I would prioritize buying over an O2 analyzer precisely because they are so prevalent at shops/fill stations.

I use my own analyzers every dive, even with trusted sources, just as a habit so that it's routine for when I use an unfamiliar source.


I really like the polls.

I might use the shop analyzer to quickly check the gas they mixed for total screw-ups, but I will reanalyze before the actual dive.

I have a Cootwo that I use for O2/CO, when I get to diving trimix on a regular basis I will invest in the DiveSoft analyzer.

How do you like the cootwo? I purchased one but it doesn't work. Contacted the company and were working on a solution.

what didn't work for you? Mine has been great... Using it with an iphone but I've heard they had issues on the android. I haven't figured out how to calibrate it without the phone because I've been too lazy to read the manual, but it's worked very well for me so far
