Can we define what "looks like a potential accident waiting to happen" so that I know when to call and when not to? I don't want to waste anyone's time with frivolous phonecalls when I report the 400lb cave diver but find out he's met the minimum dive requirements for the location.

As a start, think about minimum required configurations for various levels of cave certification.

For example, if I was to come across a couple divers in Gennie at the Keyhole, diving single Al 80's and only one first stage each (it's happened), THERE IS NO WAY they are supposed to be there.

But what to do when someone brings up something and that person is chastised to the point where they feel that they have something some wrong?

When that behavior comes from within a training agency, then you can only expect dives to take a "See nothing, hear nothing say nothing approach."

On a lighter note, I've been known to put red and blue flashing strobes on my UV-26...

I thought this was the cave police:

    "Have you ever noticed
    When you're feeling really good
    There's always a pigeon
That'll come shiat on your hood?" John Prine 4-7-2020

"Into the blue again; in the silent water
Under the rocks, and stones; there is water underground" Talking Heads
