Anybody dove this lately? I've never been there but my buddy wants to take me and its been awhile since he's been there. Any pointers.... why type of system is this? Scooterable? Any pointers would be great....

the vis should be good 20-30ft. I would swim it first but it is scooterable. but it would be a ##### carrying down that hill. and pick up some trash along the road while you are there. it is good to keep the hires of Isaac Harvey happy. Call me if you want directions I know Jordan has an IQ like my sac rate, and most likely wont remember how to get there.
If you do dive Harvey's, it would be great if you could post a conditions report - Harvey's Sink System Page
Hey guys.... great info, and Nick, I'll be calling you about directions... I agree about Jordan's IQ... Jordan, are you reading this stuff?? We'll probably swim it as recommended to get a feel for the system... any other pointers?

I made a dive into Harvey's this morning. Basin is clear. Vis is about 20 ft. Excellent time to dive the site. I went to the top of Aphasia Pit then came back and took the other T for several hundred feet. Vis was fairly consistent.
You want a good pointer? Look for the main line that starts in open water at 20 ft. This was the first dive for me there. I did not see it so I ran a reel straight down to 90 ft, found a wall, followed it and eventually ran into the main line.
Watch the permanent line. It's small in that large cave, dark, and brown. Easy to get off the line if not careful.
what is the access like to Harveys? is it on someones property?

it's on private property. There's a house just before you get to sink. It's best to stop by and ask/say hi. Wave and talk to all locals in the area that pass as you suit up and pick up trash around the sink after your dive. That's my understanding.
