Default New parking area and shorter walk for Friedman's

There is now a much bigger parking area for Friedman's Sink and a new trail that cuts about 100 ft or so off the walk. The park just finished it today. We were the first to utilize it.

Cool, although I always enjoyed playing Desoto walking through the woods there. We can try it out Tuesday though! Conditions...?

Conditions were awesome. We scootered to the spring tunnel. Flow is very manageable and I would guess about 40 to 60 ft of vis. Maybe a little better. You could see wall to wall.

Good news, that was a bit of a haul with gear in the summer heat.

No more drawing straws to see who would lead with the "spider stick"? It's officially become a tourist spot no more charming giant spiders across the trail to scare away all but the most determined. What next valets to take your car to catfish?

A spider stick and tick repellant is still required. Lol!
