    Default Scuba Compressor 4.2 cfm

    $2000 plus shipping/fees

Max-Air 35 scuba compressor. This is a fantastic compressor for a small group of divers that wish to both fill tanks at home or in a remote location. It will do both. It pumps at 4.2 cfm and has a max psi of 4800. Filling a AL80 takes about 20 minutes. All the specifications for this compressor are easily available from the internet. It provides breathable air from the stock unit but we used it for our personal trimix blending station with additional mixing and filtering to achieve oxygen compatible air quailty. We have a total of less than 75 run hours on the compressor and there are several USA service centers that provide inexpensive service and/or parts should that be needed in the future.

In additional to the normal configuration we have added.

    1) both 220V electric motor and 5.5hp Honda gas motors are included.
    2) in line visual moisture/CO indicator housing provided.
    3) Wheeled cart to easily move it around.

I will be traveling from PA down to FL in the month of February so if someone purchased it I could potentially meet along the route to drop it off. I also travel from PA to CT often.

Price drop to $1750. In a couple weeks I will be traveling down to south Florida with a stop in Columbia, SC and Orlando, FL so drop off can be arranged. It comes with both the gas powered engine and electrical motor. It only take about 30 minutes to swap them out for use in the field. The compressor has been in storage in my house since the original add was posted.

Do you have more pics? Setup stock? Or does it have additional filter towers?

That is a good price. I paid more for a smaller compressor.

Forrest. Thank you. I am very aware that it is a very good price. A group of us up here in the NE USA used it for a couple years to fill our tanks for technical, CCR and Cave Diving. I would even bring it down to FL when I was coming down to cave dive for a few weeks. When we bought it we paid twice what I am asking and I had to get one of the stages rebuilt by the manufacturer due to a stupid error by the previous owner. He owned a yacht and wanted it in case his guests wanted to go diving. It only had 6 hours on it when we bought it. When I sent it to the manufacturer for the stage repair it was checked out completely and given a clean bill of health. It satisfied our needs and we were glad to have it. With the saving we had on He to fill trimix by my calculations it came close to paying for itself and that does no take into account the gas, time and aggravation of going to the local dive shop for fills. Now the group has not been diving for over two years and will probably not return to technical diving. It has sat in my house taking up space and I am tired of moving it around a couple times a year to get at other stuff. So I am offering it here for an attractive price. Since I am coming down to FL I can bring it along (with a deposit from the new owner) and save them the high cost of shipping. I have shipped lots of stuff and with the cost of freight these days I am sure a item of this size would be well of $300 to crate and ship.

You can trust John on this deal. He brought down a compressor for me a few years back and I am still using it.

When are you coming south. I’d be game at 1750 if you can make a stop in Hampton Roads.

Check you email. I will be coming down I95 so we will see if a meetup will work. Others that are interested should continue to contact me until I have a firm commitment and a deposit. At that point I will post that the compressor is promised.

Don that had to be more than 5 years ago. You sure have gotten your money out of that little guy.
