Can someone explain why the Suwannee is rising at most stations, but falling at Troy Spring?

The level of the Santa Fe by my house is also dropping. I was having this discussion with a friend earlier this week. I am sure there are a lot of factors, but for the Santa Fe, its just a factor of the input Volume - the output Volume.. Right? I was wondering if the increased flow of the Suwannee might actually be pulling water out of the SF at a higher rate kind of like a venturi.

The Santa Fe is backing up, near the Suwannee, so it may do so by your house soon.

My guess for Troy Spring is a broken river gauge.

Just checked the NOAA website and it does indeed say "Gauge currently out of service" for Troy

So it does. They left it up there broken most of the day.

It's not actually broken. They just had the wrong feed going to the webpage. It should be fixed later today for them.

However you can see the correct Troy data here: http://www.mysuwanneeriver.org/portal/springs.htm

That sure is a hard page to interpret. Don't they have just the river level?
