Mel Clark may have had permission to dive there. Just because those who are there didn't know about it, means nothing.

Nope. No permission was given. Known fact. Again as stated before, facts are rules were broken, has been done by several other groups, so now the people in charge are pissed and using social media as a form of punishment as there may be no other recourse and it may deter future problems.

My couple of sources have the same information. I'm sure the divers who broke the rules may have a different story, but regardless of their story they knowingly entered a prohibited area.

I guess we see it differently. I don't see any beating around the bush. If you have her contact info then feel free to email her.

From what I'm told from Mel, this is a mistake/misunderstanding and a lot of the details out there are not true. The team is suppose to put out a statement of their side, later today.

The corruption in Mexico is unbelievable. We have it much better in FL where no one ever sneak dives.

On the face of it, these are in fact true statements. However I can't tell if you are are serious with this post given the context - you realize at least two of the divers are active cave instructors right? I'm not sure from whom they should take a refresher?
