Minor hijack here: I use the rubber strap on my Nitek Plus, and it broke last year. I bought one almost identical at Wal-Mart for about eight bucks.

so do I, but I recently picked up a nitek plus for the wife for a backup computer and she said "oh, the strap is soooo cute, I want one for my other computer". Happy Wife, Happy Life... a few dollars later she is satisfied. At least she is not asking for diamonds.
